People sometimes ask us, "what makes you different?" as
photographers. We take the time to familiarize ourselves with your
objectives, and also to get to know your firm and your projects. We are
fanatical about quality and are dedicated and disciplined photographers.
We often visit buildings on our own time to view lighting at different
times of the day, if time permits. A client recently said, "Chaplo
keeps going until he gets it right." That was confirmation of our
lifelong commitment to fine still photography.
When time allows, we scout and investigate, with a set of plans in hand.
Of course, we are cognizant of deadlines, and have a proven track record
of coming through every time, even under severe time constraints and tight
submission deadlines. You know -- the grass sod was just finished and the
competition boards have to be ready next week ;-)
We take a personal interest in the success of your firm, and the
importance of photographs in communicating your successes in architecture,
design, building, engineering, project management, quality materials &
installations. As craftsmen, we appreciate the quality, function, and
aesthetic elements of your buildings. We find that photographing a
well-designed building is an evocative experience. That is why we are
committed to architectural photography: the joy of seeing projects that
have great design, and fulfill their functional requirements. Consider
letting us having the privilege of photographing your next project as a
trial run to test our compatibility to your way of working -- and to see
if the way that we add value, and support you through the process isn't
superior to the photographers that you've tried thus far.
Pushing the shutter release is the easiest part of the process of building
a great photograph. We only get out the camera when we have a clear vision
of lighting, angles, and choices regarding lenses and film to make the
vision a reality. If you feel like your current photographer is breezing
through your projects without enough care, without taking the time to get
to know your building, call us! It's time that you found a photographer who
